Measurements: Environmental Noise
Environmental noise surveys may be conducted to:
- Monitor background noise levels for noise impact assessment reports or development applications using standard and 1/3 octave frequency noise loggers.
- Monitor construction noise levels
- Monitor compliance with Environmental Licence or noise management plan conditions
- Investigate complaints of excessive noise levels
- Monitor compliance with Licensing Commission requirements or local authority event approvals
