Measurements: Hand-Arm Vibration

Hand-Arm vibration of operators may be measured to assess the risk of short and longer term injury or damage (“white finger”) to operators of hand-held power tools that vibrate, e.g. jack-hammers, pressure hammers, chisels and roofbolters

Early symptoms of hand-arm vibration exposure are white fingers, followed by permanent loss of feeling and dexterity
