Measurements: Traffic Noise Levels
Traffic noise levels may be measured to:
- Determine external noise levels and frequency spectra for acoustic design of building facade components (windows, walls, doors and roof/ceiling)
- Validate/calibrate computer noise prediction models for new residential development, or new/upgraded roads (Queensland Main Roads requirement) using single and multiple channel noise and vibration measurement systems.
