Measurements: Occupational Noise Surveys
Occupational noise surveys may be conducted to:
- Determine daily noise exposure to assess risk of long term exposure hearing impairment;
- Confirm compliance with hearing protection regulations;
- Measure noise levels or frequency spectra to confirm suitability of hearing protection devices for high noise level work environments, impactive noise level enviroments, or long shifts;
- Generate noise contour maps around mobile or fixed machines, or across whole work floors or work areas in buildings
