Pty Ltd. Issues considered in the CEMP were dust and air quality,
erosion and sedimentation, noise, waste management and disposal, noxious
weeds, and storm water runoff. Regular audits of site performance and
documentation were conducted. Liaison with the site owner, Department
of Mines and the owener's environmental consultant engineers.
Construction and Operational Environment Management Plan, Noosa Aquatic Centre, Sunshine Beach
Preparation of the CEMP for the construction of
the Aquatic Centre Project. Issues considered were storm water runoff,
vulnerable flora and fauna (including relocation of flora), erosion
and sedimentation, waste management and disposal, use and storage of
hazardous materials.
Preliminary Hazardous Materials Assessment, Windermere Estate Stages 9 and East.
Residential development in Stages 9 and East
were located within 150m of general industry zoned land use. A preliminary
hazard survey was conducted by interviewing representatives of all
companies operating within 500m to determine use and storage of hazardous
materials that could pose a risk of flammability or explosion. Classification
of hazardous materials and emergency response plans.
Ground Water Monitoring, Paint Manufacturing Site, Rocklea
Drilling of bore holes and sampling of ground
water quality. Laboratory analysis of water samples to check compliance
with EPA water guidelines in the site license.
Construction EMP, Strand Hotel Re-development, Yeppoon
Preparation of CEMP for the large re-development
project. Issues include storm water, erosion and sedimentation, dust,
acid sulphate soils, waste management and disposal and noise.
Environmental Impact Assessment, QR Container Terminal, Innisfail
Environmental impact assessment of upgraded container
terminal. Issues included noise, road traffic, dangerous goods storage
and handling, contamination, storm water, lighting, soil, dust and
air quality, visual amenity, waste management, fuel storage, flora
and fauna, cultural heritage and construction.
Acid Sulphate Soil Assessment, Residential Sub-division, Arundel
Assessment of ASS by sampling on site during bulk earth works. Laboratory
testing of soil samples and reporting in accordance with ASS guidelines.
Preliminary Hazardous
Materials Assessment, Child Care Centre, Algester
The proposed child care centre was located within 150m of a general
industry zoned area. Interviews were conducted with representatives
of all companies operating within 300m of the site and a preliminary
hazard and emergency response report was prepared for Brisbane
City Council.
