Noise Control Guidelines and the Draft Assessment for Low Frequency
Noise Guideline.

Environmental noise impact for the proposed expansion of the existing
plant. Measurement of boundary noise levels and estimation of sound power
levels for existing plant from site measurements. Modelling of noise
emissions from expanded plant using SoundPLAN software.
Boral Concrete Batching Plant, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Environmental noise impact of proposed re-location
of the concrete batching plant. Determination of source sound power levels
for the various activities and operations of the plant and SoundPLAN
modelling of future noise propagation from the plant. Recommendations
for noise control included solid walls and plant specifications.
ENCO-Precast, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Acoustic impact of proposed expansion
of pre-cast concrete manufacturing site. Project included a roof over the manufacturing
area, relocation and expansion of the manufacturing lines for concrete girders
and piles. Background noise levels were measured and noise modelling was conducted
using SoundPLAN software. Noise control measures were recommended. Sources included
concrete trucks, vibrators, hand grinders, gantry cranes, motion alarms and hammering.

Investigation of excessive noise levels from external refrigeration
condensers. Design of noise control enclosure and cooling ventilation
to achieve compliance with EPA requirements.
