BarnOwl® is an integrated system of acoustical measurement technology and software for signal processing, reporting and management functions. BarnOwl® can be operated as a stand-alone unit or networked in a multi-unit configuration for large industrial sites surrounded by residences (e.g. a mine).
Three hardware versions for the Field Unit are available:
- Permanent - (rack mounted) - options include 24 bit Brüel & Kjær acoustical hardware, or the 16/20 bit Sinus based Harmonie-PCI system.
- Mobile - (low power 12v operation) - using the Sinus Soundbook system.
- Industrial PC - (low power 12v operation) - using the the 16/20 bit Sinus based Harmonie-PCI system.
