Hurricane is our robust network-based front-end for mobile data acquisition tasks. It contains synchronous analog input channels, analog output channels, digital input channels and digital output channels.
Hurricane includes its own PC with a hard disk for data storage. The hard disk can optionally be replaced by a solid-state disk. Hurricane can be operated directly using the keyboard and VGA monitor or remotely via network connection. The maximum total data rate is 52 Mbit/s. The driver for Windows 2000/XP is delivered as standard with this device. Being suitable for field measurements as well as inexpensive, the combination of the application software and Hurricane represents a modern alternative to data acquisition with an AiT recorder The ICP inputs are prepared for the Smart Sensor Interface according to IEEE P1451.4.
